Welcome to Our Basketball Program! 

 

Experience the excitement and energy of the court with the Seminole County Recreation Department's Basketball Program. Open to young athletes of various ages and skill levels, our program is dedicated to developing fundamental basketball skills, encouraging teamwork, and promoting a healthy, competitive spirit. It's an ideal place for participants to enhance their game, understand the importance of teamwork, and enjoy the dynamic nature of basketball.

Program Details

• Age Groups: 7 to 14

• Skill Levels: Suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.

Registration

• Registration Dates: TBD

• How to Register: Please click on the "Sports Application" button below to print and complete the application for your youth athlete.  The application and fee may be brought to the Recreation Department between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday) or parents can enclose in a sealed envelope and use the drop box.  Note: if it is your child's first time playing, we do require a certified birth certificate.

• Fees: $50.00 per child, with a $10 discount for the third child.

Schedule

• Detailed scheduling for practices and game dates, as well as the selection of locations, will be determined at the start of each season by our coaches. This approach allows us to tailor the schedule to the specific needs and circumstances of each team, ensuring the most effective and convenient arrangement for both players and families. Keep an eye out for communications from your team's coach for the most up-to-date and relevant scheduling information.
